Donate Blood

It's official, I've donated blood! For some reason or another, I have not donated blood. Today Kristi and I met up and went to give blood. We first met at Gulf Coast hospital, but to both our surprise they don't have a blood center. We then ventured to Fort Myers Lee Memorial hospital.. filled out the paperwork and successfully gave blood. I'm surprised to say that it wasn't as bad as I thought or as some of the stories I've heard. I will definitely do it again in 56 days!

Tenth Avenue Concert

GO TO TENTH AVENUE CONCERT

This summer.. has been awesome as far as concerts go. Kristi and myself and some others from Ignite volunteered at germain arena for the 10th avenue concert and we ended up getting to go and see their show for FREE. So, second time I was able to see them this year!

GO TO CAT COUNTRY CONCERT
Then a few weeks later, I was listening to the radio and I heard that Cat Country was giving away tickets just to their listeners for Steel Magnolia, Thompson Square, James Wesley, and Sunny Sweeney soo I was determined to win them since I knew I loved steel magnolia and thompson square. After a few failed attempts to get their tickets, one morning I made it to Victory Layne Chevrolet with Lauren and Kristi and we won tickets. The show ended up being soo much and definitely a unique concert since all four bands were out at the same time going back and forth. Anyways, definitely loved this concert too!

Surfing...

LEARN TO SURF

Well, the first week of summer Kaylee, Danielle, and I drove over to Cocoa Beach. Amanda, Lauren, and Gabby met us there. We ended up renting surf boards for a couple days....it was the best trip! I ended up being able to stand up and actually catch a few waves. Kaylee was a good teacher. We stayed in the Ron Jon hotel and enjoyed a few days after finals. Definitely, want to go again! Happy to be able to say that I've tried to surf.
